Drachten is a village (not a town) situated in the province
of Friesland, in the north part of the Netherlands. Drachten is the main town of the municapality of Smallingerland, which consist of 14 villages. The municipality of Smallingerland inhibits little more than 55.000 people, who mainly live of medium sized industry. |
